Mulberry Melow
Mulberry Mellow (มัลเบอร์รี่ เมลโล่) in Kanchanaburi province, not far from Kanchanaburi town, is another great place to stop for a drink and have something to eat. Mulberry Mellow is not just the normal restaurant. Behind the main building they have created a beautiful field under the trees and next to a small lake. Scattered over the field they have placed seating spots. We visited this beautiful place early May. Sitting under the trees on this hot day was actually very pleasant.
Inside the main building you can order your drinks. You will receive a small buzzer with a number that you then can bring with you outside and stick on a small holder on your table. When your order is ready it will make some noise. The serving staff will find you and bring you your drinks. If you wish to order some finger food (fries, small pizza, etc.) you can order that at a small kiosk further on the field.
Location
To reach Mulberry Mellow from Kanchanaburi town you have to cross the bridge over the river. Follow road 3209. From the town centre it is about 9 km to get here. Use e.g. Google Maps to find the location.
