In the eastern part of Bangkok you can one of the (probably) largest restaurants in Bangkok. This is not your usual outdoor space or airconditioned room. Chocolate Ville is a small village and this whole small village is just one big restaurant.
Ever since the opening back in 2012 we have been coming here as it isn’t far from our house. Over time we have seen things change and the large group tours have started to arrive as well. But nevertheless Chocolate Ville is an impressive and amazing place to visit.
Throughout the “village” you can sit down at one one the many tables. Some are in covered areas, others in open space. Many visitors might arrive just before sunset to see Chocolate Ville in daylight. Then you would stay around to see the village transform with all the lights and illumination of the houses.
The menu consist of a wide selection of international and Thai dishes. Famous international dishes include the spare ribs and pork knuckle.
Getting there
To get to Chocolate Ville you might need a taxi or private transport. Public transport options are limited to some busses. When the Pink MRT line opens you can get closer and do the last part by taxi. Chocolate Ville is location on the Kaset-Nawamin road, all the way on the eastern end of this road, even eastward of Nawamin road. The entrance of the restaurant is easily recognizable by a large windmill that stands in the front.
If you are coming to this side of the city you might as well plan a stop at the large Fashion Island and Promenade shopping mall, Suan Siam as well as the Kwan-Riam Floating Market
