Wat Tham Suea (Tiger Cave Temple) is a famous and beautiful hill top temple in Kanchanaburi province. The temple itself is definitely worth a visit. But if you are looking for a great view on this temple before or after you visit it you should come to Meena Café (มีนา café). From the café you have a beautiful view over green rice fields and in the background the famous temple.
Meena Café is a popular destination for taking (Instagram) pictures but you can also sit down here and have something to eat and/or drink. We came here early May and the rice fields were in a beautiful fresh green color.
An elevated path way leads from the entrance into the rice field. Along the way they created various spots to create beautiful photos of the temple in combination with the rice fields. At the end you can take a photo with the name of the café in the front.
Location
The entrance is a bit away from the main roads. But if you have your own transport search for Meena Café on Google Maps and it will guide you. The small road in front of Meena Café offers some parking space.
